Fashion Stylist, Mexico.

Monica De Haro studied fashion design at CENTRO University in Mexico City. While living in New York City she worked with Mexican fashion designer Christian Cota and Venezuelan fashion designer Angel Sanchez. For some time now, she has been working on several styling projects but focusing as a fashion coordinator at The Mall – a Mexican production company.

She’s inspired by minimalism and oversized as well as an overloaded and exaggerated style, it all depends on her mood. She has the habit of exercising and drinking coffee while reading up her favorite blogs. Everything interesting that she discovers goes into her secret folder for future references. She loves Fashion Editor and Stylist Giovanna Battaglia and Vogue Creative Director Grace Coddington. “I love that they don’t just wear a piece, they make a whole fashion statement”, she says.

Her must-have items while working are all that comprises a sewing kit – tweezers, thread, needles, rubber bands and safety pins. She never goes out to work without her special folder, which includes outfit ideas, color palettes, poses and other random sources of inspiration.

Monica loves fashion, art and photography. Being a stylist is a dream come true for her, mainly because it allows her to be involved in all of them. Her ultimate goal is being an art director. We’re sure she’ll create wonders within the art world.
