Nancy Rodriguez Castro is the creative director of Driguez, Inc. She lived nearly two years in Los Angeles, California and had a multi-brand store in Melrose Av. She is a fashion designer, has worked as a wardrobe designer of the most prestigious publicity directors in Mexico and she’s a fashion stylist. Today, she’s one of the most talented jewelry designers, and her best achievement is her son Pablo.
Nancy has a fresh, unique and extravagant style. She’s a fashion statement of her own. Elegant with a sophisticated twist, Nancy’s everyday hair and makeup is like living in an editorial production on a daily basis. But what has put her on the industry’s radar is how she embraces her talent as a jewelry designer. It’s through the details and how she plays her outfits with her designs that her style is so mysteriously glamorous.
Nancy has had a successful career. From fashion designer to fashion stylist, to director of a retail store, Nancy confessed that being a jewelry designer is what she enjoys the most.“It was a hobby and with time, it became what it is today,” she said. Her art as an artist is to create pieces that represent her personality. “When people love fashion, they create a character and turn it into a unique and personal style,” she said.
She has her eyes on Del Pozo’s Fall-Winter ’14 metallic shoes. Her every day habit is to watch all the runways from the world. The oldest piece she owns is a pair of Miu Miu shoes and the first thing she does in the morning is kissing her dogs.
We love her style. She’s the perfect definition of styling as an art form. The Fancy Archive admires Nancy’s talent in crafting metals. She achieves to give each one of her pieces their own voice.
