Italian fashion blogger Marta Pozzan graduated with a degree in literature in 2010. Knowing that fashion was her passion, she started drawing her path into the industry by working as an editor for Vanity Fair Italy’s magazine next to her mentor, then Editor-in-Chief Silvia Paoli.
In 2011 she moved to L.A. to pursue her second passion, acting. She worked for a while as a TV journalist and as a model until she decided to start her personal fashion blog, IT’S SUPER FASHION. It’s through her blog that she’s able to merge her two favorite things in the world, fashion and acting. “I would define my blog’s spirit as rookie editorial,” she said. “It’s a platform through which I can tell the story and concept behind an outfit.” Currently, she is also a contributor for L’Officiel Italy with a column on Angeleno art, fashion, lifestyle and events.
Very European and sophisticated, she’s obsessed with Miu Miu and Stella McCartney. The blogger’s favorite statement pieces are boyfriend jeans, cropped tops and creepers. Marta loves to express her creativity through fashion-forward styles, with statement accessories and unexpected matches. She’s the type of girl that knows what she wants and gets what she dreams for. Her greatest achievement is being an ambassador for Nasty Gal’s Shoe Cult Collection, a brand she’s been following for as long as she can remember.
The oldest piece inside her closet is an ACNE oversize blazer she bought in high school and the next thing she’s adding to her wardrobe is a Céline bag. “For me, fashion and style aren’t just about designer pieces, but more about the overall feel I get from a woman’s outfit,” she said. “I look at the energy she exudes through what she’s wearing.” For her, shoes, jewelry and accessories can really define one’s personality beyond physical appearances; that’s what she loves the most about fashion.
Being an art geek and a music lover, Marta’s blog, It’s Super Fashion.com, is a combination of fashion photography and conceptual art. We could say she’s good with visual storytelling. She creates short stories for each of her shootings and delivers certain emotions just by having a certain look or pose. “I love art in every form, and fashion is the art form I’ve chosen to express myself through,” she said. “And my blog lets me do just that – I love being able to create my own content, and I get to travel and meet new people.”
Marta has done some amazing things like working for Silvia Paoli and hosting the fashion newscast ‘Fashion Nuts.’ But she admits hosting Fashion Week Milan has been one of her favorite moments.
Marta Pozzan has become a hot topic during Fashion Week. She’s very talented in front of a camera and lives, loves and breathes fashion. Plus, she’s an incredible editor. We love her Instagram and we definitely love her looks so stay tuned and follow her at itssuperfashion.com
