Andaz Mayakoba Resort
Weekend getaway at Andaz Mayakoba Resort
With Lety Sahagún, Chantal Trujillo, Pamela Allier, Fernanda Medina and TFA
We had the opportunity of having the perfect weekend getaway at Mayakoba, and we want to share with you our incredible experience. We went with our friends Leticia Sahagun, Fernanda Medina, Pamela Allier and Chantal Trujillo. We stayed at Andaz Mayakoba Resort, the newest area from this development. Mayakoba has definitely become one of our favorite spots from Mexico. Perfect powdery beaches and turquoise waters as well as a wonderful cenote surround the place. From the moment they pick us up at the airport till the moment we left, the service and kindness we received form everyone was amazing. This is the perfect destination to find peace, get in contact with nature and being able to relax. The rooms have an incredible view that provides an intimate contact with nature while at the same time providing a sense of privacy. The architecture is perfect, they achieved to create a space submerge in nature without making any modification to their environment, always respecting the endemic ecosystem. The design is elegant and sophisticated; all details are inspired in Yucatan’s traditional colors and textures. The Andaz resort has many outdoor areas that allow you to meditated and relax such as bonfires, hammocks and decks. The open spaces immersed in nature are perfect for practicing cycling and outdoor running. It is actually easy to complete your exercise routine while having a great time. One of our favorite moments was visiting the Naum Wellness & Spa, they offer a big variety of therapies and treatments as well as a gym which is open 24 hours. Mayakoba brings their guests a delightful gastronomic experience with a focus on fresh, locally-sourced ingredient, each restaurant has an exceptional menu from seafood meals to the traditional Yucatecan cuisine. Our favorite restaurant was CASA AMATE. TFA strongly recommends all of you to visit this amazing place, it is definitely worth it.
