The Fancy Archive is a blog inspired by people from multiple backgrounds within the art world. Artists we admire and talents we are eager to celebrate, which shouldn’t go unnoticed. Our main purpose is to understand what their sources of inspiration are and how their creative processes are developed – and we want our readers to take that journey with us. We strive to promote their authentic results. This platform is a space for them to share their fresh and innovative work .
Lorena has a degree in marketing from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, a degree in fashion marketing from Parsons The New School for Design and took several courses in publishing at NYU. She has collaborated with the PR teams for brands like Alexandre Birman at Network Showroom and Stella McCartney’s NYC showroom. While in New York, she assisted stylists Micaela Erlanger and Annabel Tollman for celebrity styling, editorial shootings and red carpet events.
Mariana, has a degree in fashion design by Centro University and had a clothing brand named Petunia Petunia. She also worked as fashion coordinator for 192 Magazine and was the accessories and jewelry buyer for Saks Mexico.
Photo Editor Ashley Frangie, has a Bachelor of fine arts in Professional Photography from the Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, California. She graduated with honors. She has worked for photographers like Elizabeth Messina, Kenneth Willardt and as a junior curator for Milk Studios in Los Angeles. She is currently living in New York and besides being a freelance photographer, she is assisting Kenneth Willardt in his new solo exhibition called “Size does Matter.”
